Healthy aging and longevity

Many factors influence healthy aging and longevity. This is modulated by genetics (25%) and non-genetic factors (75%). Genetic factors are not in our control; however, non-genetic factors -with a significant implication in our health- are in our control. One of them is the beneficial gut microbiota, now considered as one of the key elements contributing to the regulation of our health and prevent underlying inflammation.
